Born on April 6th 1968, Diego started drumming classes at the age of 10. In parallel to this, he performed 2 years later, in different amateur orchestras. His hard work and good will took him to his first professional audition, at the age of 18, for the group Jack Stone. Together, they went from tour to tour, thus mastering various styles of music (Rock, Jazz, popular music, Funk etc…).

In 1990, Diego joined the group ZEROp directed by Angi Schiliro. The group performed throughout Europe as a supporting act to various groups like Nazareth, Uriah Heep, Mama’s Boys and Alvin Lee.

In 1993, the group produced itself at the Foundation Forum in Los Angeles as supporting act to the ex Black Sabbath:

OZZY Osbourne. The group performed throughout the American continent (Tampa, Fort Lauterdale, Dallas, New York).

Back in Europe, Diego accompanied Angi Schiliro on his solo tour for the White Lady I and II albums. During his tour, he systematically seduced the audience with his ravaging drum solo. That same year, he recorded a country album for Pete Gantry.

In 1994, one could hear Diego at the drums on a Swiss Blues Authority production; an album which reunited Swiss artists such as Marc Storace (Krokus), Polo Hofer, Chris Gora. He also recorded an album with the band Streamtrain.

In 1995, ZERO recorded its album in South-Africa. As soon as it was released, In Switzerland, he recorded the music for the Swatch Company advertisement, based on house music with the drummer/percussionist Jess Montini (Erotic Jesus, No Religion), produced by Paolo Fedrigol (Coroner, No Religion ZEROp).

In 1999, Diego became the demonstrator for the Bosphorus brand of Turkish Cymbals and at the same time, he was recording for divers European artists. MAPEX (a famous brand of drums) sponsored Diego.

In 2000, he joined the Swiss singer “Mundart” Natacha (gold and platinum disc in Switzerland), with whom he left on tour. As supporting act to the Joe Cocker Festival in St-Gall, they played in front of an audience of over 10’000 people. During this time, they appeared on TV regularly, for the promotion of their “Ich wär so gern” album.

In 2001, he recorded the album “be mine tonight” for the singer and TV animator Tanisha. With Florian Schneider (lyrical singer of the musical comedy “Phantom of the Opera”), Diego recorded the album “Hoch Hinuaf”.

the group signed up in Japan with the label of Zero/Virgin and in Europe with the label of Cnr/Arcade.

In 2002, he joined the band Paganini. The coming out of the `Esoterrorism’ album followed.

In 2003, he recorded for Vincent Vallat, the `Y’a l’feu à la distillerie ‘ album. A year later, `Jurazik’ for Christophe Meyer (FOU) & `Drums vs Machines ‘ for BPM came out.

In 2005 he recorded the albums for Paganini `Resurrection ‘, Touched By, Silent Memorial Project, Jean-Pierre Robert, Manitu, Roy Ellis and Venturia.

His band Venturia signed with Lionmusic in 2006.
