Born on April 6th 1968,
Diego started drumming classes at the age of 10. In
parallel to this, he performed 2 years later, in
different amateur orchestras. His hard work and good
will took him to his first professional audition, at the
age of 18, for the group Jack Stone. Together, they went
from tour to tour, thus mastering various styles of
music (Rock, Jazz, popular music, Funk etc…)./x-tad-bigger>/color>/fontfamily>

In 1990, Diego joined the group ZEROp directed by Angi
Schiliro. The group performed throughout Europe as a
supporting act to various groups like Nazareth, Uriah
Heep, Mama’s Boys and Alvin Lee.

In 1993, the group produced itself at the Foundation
Forum in Los Angeles as supporting act to the ex Black
Sabbath: |

OZZY Osbourne. The group performed throughout the
American continent (Tampa, Fort Lauterdale, Dallas, New
York).
Back in Europe, Diego accompanied Angi Schiliro on his
solo tour for the White Lady I and II albums. During his
tour, he systematically seduced the audience with his
ravaging drum solo. That same year, he recorded a
country album for Pete Gantry.

In 1994, one could hear Diego at the drums on a Swiss
Blues Authority production; an album which reunited
Swiss artists such as Marc Storace (Krokus), Polo Hofer,
Chris Gora. He also recorded an album with the band
Streamtrain.

In 1995, ZERO recorded its album in South-Africa. As
soon as it was released, In Switzerland, he recorded the
music for the Swatch Company advertisement, based on
house music with the drummer/percussionist Jess Montini
(Erotic Jesus, No Religion), produced by Paolo Fedrigol
(Coroner, No Religion ZEROp).
In 1999, Diego became the demonstrator for the Bosphorus
brand of Turkish Cymbals and at the same time, he was
recording for divers European artists. MAPEX (a famous
brand of drums) sponsored Diego.

Swiss singer “Mundart” Natacha (gold and platinum disc
in Switzerland), with whom he left on tour. As
supporting act to the Joe Cocker Festival in St-Gall,
they played in front of an audience of over 10’000
people. During this time, they appeared on TV regularly,
for the promotion of their “Ich wär so gern” album.
In 2001, he recorded the album “be mine tonight” for the
singer and TV animator Tanisha. With Florian Schneider (lyrical
singer of the musical comedy “Phantom of the Opera”),
Diego recorded the album “Hoch Hinuaf”.
the group signed up in Japan with the label of
Zero/Virgin and in Europe with the label of Cnr/Arcade.

joined the band Paganini. The coming out of the `Esoterrorism'
album followed.
In 2003, he recorded for Vincent Vallat, the `Y'a l'feu
à la distillerie ' album. A year later, `Jurazik' for
Christophe Meyer (FOU) & `Drums vs Machines ' for BPM
came out.
In 2005 he recorded the albums for Paganini `Resurrection
', Touched By, Silent Memorial Project, Jean-Pierre
Robert, Manitu, Roy Ellis and Venturia.
His band Venturia signed with Lionmusic in 2006.
The worldwide release of their album `New Kingdom ' is
due for April 21st 2006.
He is currently working with Christophe Meyer (FOU),
recording the 3rd album, and preparing to tour Europe
with Paganini in support of the "Resurrection".
